21 Days of Prayer Encounter at COS Day 20
Satan’s tactics are many. But they all have one goal in common: deactivate the Christian’s atomic weapon of prayer. Nullify it. Disarm the church of God. In this scheme, Satan has been largely successful. Prayer has become a P.S. in our relationship to God, if it’s present at all. Make sure your divine weapon is fully operational. And use it for God’s purposes and to thwart Satan’s. Let us disarm him. Effectual, fervent prayer has been the mightiest weapon of God’s mightiest soldiers.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Draw The Circle Key Thoughts: Take captive sinful thoughts and make them obedient to Christ. And that is half the battle. But if we see only negative implications and not the positive possibilities, it becomes a half-truth. This verse is not just about capturing sinful thoughts and getting them out of our minds; it’s also about capturing creative thoughts based on truth and keeping them in our minds. It means stewarding every word, thought, impression, and revelation inspired by the Spirit of God. “Never underestimate the power of a single prayer.”
Prayer Focus: Pray prayer bombs of truth for the demolition of every stronghold, every argument, and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. Pray prayer bombs against thoughts of doubt, despair, depression, delay, discouragement, discontentment and difficulty. Pray that Encounter would produce expert taking thoughts captive disciples that walk in victory.
Be Blessed and Encouraged
