Turn Your Worries Into Prayers
“Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 NASB
Draw The Circle Key Thoughts:
“The key to praying without ceasing is turning everything into a prayer. It usually starts with big things like problems and dreams. Then it graduates to little things like chores and routines. And eventually, your entire life becomes a continuous prayer. Every thought. Every action. Every moment.”
“If you are a worrier by nature, I have good news for you. You have tremendous prayer potential. The Apostle Paul writes, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.”
“If you worry about everything, you’ll have a much higher likelihood of praying without ceasing if you simply learn to turn your worries into prayers. The Holy Spirit can redeem your anxious thoughts by using them as prayer triggers.
Think of worry as a prayer alarm. Every time it goes off, you put it to prayer. And when you do, you’ll discover that your anxieties will evaporate like early morning fog. So quit wasting your worries. Redeem them by recycling them. Turn your worries into prayers!”
“The reason most people don’t feel intimacy with God is that they don’t have a daily prayer rhythm. They may have a weekly rhythm of going to church, which is wonderful, but doing so in and of itself won’t produce intimacy with God. God wants a day-by-day, hour-by-hour, minute-by-minute relationship with you.
The good news is this: God is only a prayer away. The shortest distance between you and God is the distance between your knees and the floor. The best prayer is a well-lived life, day in and day out.”
Prayer Focus: Invite God into your day and whenever you get anxious, pray. When you start to worry, pray. When you feel overwhelmed, pray. Pray that God turns our problems into prayer praises. Pray without ceasing today for Encounter and all the work being done behind the scenes to make the launch successful.
Be Blessed and Encouraged
