When you experience the peace of God, you can’t explain it, and you can never articulate it effectively because it’s something so powerful and miraculous, words can never do it justice.
It is possible for you to have peace with God but not experience the peace of God.
The starting point for peace on earth in your life starts with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
There is a difference between peace with God and experiencing the peace of God.
You need both and the starting point is accepting the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ into your life.
This peace is something the world does not offer. Nobody has it nor can give it to you other than the Prince of Peace.
Two gifts that Christians have and I emphasize that they are gifts, that no one else has are the peace of God and the gift of the Holy Spirit in us.
The Holy Spirit is the source for our peace. It’s where we get our peace and that peace is always available through an abiding walk with Jesus that empowers the Holy Spirit to pour out that peace when we humble ourselves in full surrender to the Lordship and leadership of Jesus Christ.
The more you do that the more peace you will have. The more you do that the more power of the Holy Spirit you will have.
The more you do that, the less stress and anxiety you will experience.
Think about it. The Holy Spirit and God’s peace are two things the world can’t manufacture or produce. No religion can.
Peace with God and the peace from God comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I hope you will join us for a very special Encounter service tomorrow night as we wrap up our series, “This Is Us,” talking about the Prince of Peace.
