So The Party Began!

Luke 15:20-24 NLT “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.

“But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

Please accept this special invitation to a great party this Friday at Encounter. We are going to celebrate two of our heroes from the House of Hope graduating from their 9-month residency and completing the Encounter studies. This is a big deal and I hope you come out in full force to support our Encounter men who have experienced growth, healing, and restoration by coming home to their Father in Heaven!

We will have special guests that include one of the greatest NBA basketball legends, Paul Westphal. I have asked Paul who was an NBA All Star 5 years in a row, to share some words of encouragement.

Mandie, will be back and it’s her birthday week so let’s be sure to let her know how much we love and appreciate all she does for us by being there this Friday.

Ken Craft, the CEO from the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission will be there with staff and board members to celebrate this special graduation.

I will share a special word about not settling for good but settling for God’s best.

The Taco Truck will be providing a great meal for dinner. What will make this event great is to pack out the Father's House this Friday by having you all there!

I hope you will join us for this special party and graduation service.

Be Blessed and Encouraged
