Encounter Ministry Update

Encounter,

I hope this message finds you well. We have been busy in Kentucky keeping Encounter running since our launch. God is faithful, and His hand of blessing has been on us the entire time. Our weekly gatherings have never been as impactful as they are now helping the broken and hurting overcome life adversities so they can discover the free devoted to Jesus Christ. Marriages are getting restored. People are getting healed. Strongholds are being broken, and people are getting discipled through our 12-week Encounter Bible studies.

Encounter is as strong as it has ever been. We are grateful for the Lord’s favor and blessing. With that blessing also comes a burden. It is a good burden that is fueled by the vision and mandate God has given Encounter to grow and enlarge its territory. By His grace and the support of people like you we will prayerfully carry out those plans.

Moving forward, here is a list of important Encounter initiatives:

·      Encounter plans to roll out a new video series of the 12 Anchors of Hope lessons in the fall.

·      Encounter plans to publish and put in book form the 12-week Bible Study for distribution.

·      Encounter will copyright all of its materials and lessons.

·      Encounter will help churches and organizations launch their own Encounter ministry with our help and resources.

·      Encounter plans to use social media to promote and draw people to the ministry.

·      Encounter will make Lexington KY, the corporate location for the ministry.

·      Encounter will build and hire a team of dedicated people to join us and expand the ministry.

I remember meeting at a dear friend’s house right before we launched Encounter and was amazed at the generosity and faithfulness of people who believed in what we were doing. If it wasn’t for that seed of faithfulness and support, Encounter would have never launched, and lives would not have been changed and saved.

I will always be grateful for those of you who have supported Encounter in the past and I will always be grateful to those of you who continue to support Encounter now, and in the future.

As we move forward, we would ask that you would prayerfully consider help Encounter meet its financial needs for the rest of 2019. In order to meet our goals and keep Encounter running, we are going to need immediate and continual support. Encounter is not able to take up offerings at our current location, therefore we have to rely on people like you to help support our mission and ministry.

To meet our needs and accomplish our goals, we need to raise $250,000 by the end of 2019. We will need to raise $750,000 in 2020.

We are blessed to partner with you and so grateful for you partnering with us. If you are not able to partner financially, would you please partner with us in prayer for God to use Encounter so people can find hope, healing, and freedom in Jesus Christ.

You can give online at our website, www.thehopeencounter.org or send a check to Encounter at PO Box 23631
Lexington KY 40523-3631. You can also download our phone app by typing Encounter Hope in your app search engine and look for our Anchor of Hope.

Thank you again for your prayers, love, and support.

Acts 20:24 Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.

Be Blessed and Encouraged
