God never intended His Word to be intellectually discussed without his people applying it to their lives.

Our walk with Him was never meant to be just an intellectual exercise but a living demonstration of how we can live by His truth by making His Word the authority over our lives.

The Word of God is living and active and we are to actively live it out. That is called righteous living.

Making God’s Word the authority over our lives is the best way to live righteously because righteous living is always the prerequisite for every good work.

When you make God’s Word the authority over your life it will emphasize being before doing, character before career, and maturity before ministry.

We can’t be the person God created us to be unless His Word penetrates our hearts and transforms our lives.

Some people read God’s Word.

Some people study God’s Word.

Some people apply God’s Word.

Few people make God’s Word the authority over their lives.
