Trust is the highest form of faith and produces Hope that changes everything! 

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

We have a major announcement to make. Carolynn and I have made the prayerful decision to return home to live in Lexington, KY. It is with a joyful, yet heavy, heart that we leave the great state of California and the many great friends, that we call family, who have impacted our lives in so many ways. 

I hope you will join us at Encounter this Friday. I am going to teach on how you can get the double portion blessing if you never take your eyes off of Jesus and not me.

Anchor 9 teaches us to commit to a daily prayer life and grow my relationship with the Father. Nothing will grow your relationship with the Father more than committing to a daily prayer life, praying the prayer of “today”, therefore experiencing everything good and great the Father wants to do in your life.

“But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

The purpose of prayer is to get the know the God of the universe, your Father, in a personal way by spending time with him, waiting on him, being in his presence and trusting him. 

The moment you put yourself in a position where the Holy Spirit starts imparting God’s wisdom into your life, and that wisdom starts taking root, maturity is the byproduct. 

When you make God’s Word the authority over your life it will emphasize being before doing, character before career, and maturity before ministry. 

Let’s face it. We don’t have a problem praising God when things are going well. But does your praise get louder and more intense when things are going bad? When things are bad, do you pout or praise? Do you whine or worship? Do you complain or bless and confess His name?
